The problem that this project wants to contain is MSNA (foreign minors unaccompanied) exclusion in Italy. 95% of young people hosted in organizations are male and they’re 13- 17 years old. They’re almost always adolescents that escape from extreme poverty and violence who arrive unaccompanied in Italy. To all those, whose international protection isn’t recognised, that are 18 years old, the minors residence permit expires, thus they don’t have no more lots of their acquired rights. Without a stable outlook, these young people are suddenly in conditions of extreme precariousness and vulnerability again, that if it is unaccompanied, they risk being exposed to illegality and exploitation.
This project provides for two policy areas:
-Support for MSNA socio-economic autonomy in places like Siracusa, bologna, Livorno and Bergamo (money management, sexual education, strengthening of language skills, overcoming of the driver’s test, active job search, housing-transition, psychological specialised assistance);
- -Strengthening and exchange of good practises and skills, networking of territorial reference figures and services, training of social tutors in order to host at best young people, creation of a virtual platform in which tutors and would-be tutors can exchange training modules and informations of themes.
