INTEGRAS
Integrating Refugees in Society and Labour Market thorugh Social Innovation.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Improving social innovativation capacity in refugee policies
2. Explore, implement and evaluate social innovative measures
3. Develop a shared mind set and an improved sensitivity on the relevance of refugee integration
The project goals cannot be efficiently reached acting only on a National, regional, local due to the differences among countries in refugee policies.the fact is that some of them are more experienced with refugees and/or the government has a more open minded vision on this issue. We believe that this complex and, for many respect, awkward issue, needs a strong increase in awarness, knowledge and skills by decision-making and societies: an exlusively national ore even local understanding is largely insufficent and risks to lead to short-sighted policies. The transnational cooperation grants a fundamental mutual learning.
RESULTS:
The project expects to improve the governance capacities of public and private actors which includes the design of methods for implementing and evaluating innovative practice and also it wants to improve the Status of capacities of the public and private sector for skills development of employees and entrepreneurial competences achieved through transnational cooperation driving economic and social innovation in central European regions
Overall Goals: INTEGRAS intends to move forward from the idea that integration of refugees (and migrants as well) is an exlcusive national or even local issue since it risks to lead to increased social inequality, while a transnational and innovative approach.
